Heat the pan and add 2 – tbsp ghee Star anise BIryani leaves, Cloves (5), Cinnamon stick – 1 inch Cashews Sliced Onion – 1 medium sized Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp Sliced green chilli – 2 no's Add vegetables of your choice (I have added Carrot, Beans, potatoes) Cardamom – 3 or 4 crushed Salt – required Dry peas – 4 tbsp (Soaked for 4 to 5 hours) Close the lid and cook the vegetables for 3 – 4 min on medium flame Coriander powder (Optional) – 1 tbsp Soaked basmati rice – 3 cups (Soak them for about 20 – 30 min) Water – 5 cups Close the lid and cook them for 3 – 4 min on high flame then add chopped coriander leaves and switch the flame to low Cook them for about 25 – 30 min on low flame, till rice is done
